I worked on Outlander in my time as a Junior VFX Artist at Fix FX. It involved a lot of difficult prep. We had to hide Caitríona Balfe’s pregnancy in a lot of shots by slimming her down and reconstructing the background behind her. The vast majority of the work on the show was wig fixes to hide laces, remove glue, and change the appearance of the hair.
